Unlike many coffee liqueurs on the market, this is made entirely with pure coffee beans, with no additional flavourings. The liqueur is flavoured with 100% Arabica coffee beans, generally considered to have a softer, sweeter and more balanced flavour than Robusta beans.
 
The coffee is brewed in a giant percolator with grain alcohol and water.  The result is a subtly spiced, sweet coffee liqueur with notes of rich coffee bean, subtle dark chocolate, brown sugar, red berries and liquorice.
