A prize and rare spirit. Any distilled spirits are divided into 3 parts (heads, heart and tails). The hearts are the purest part of any distillation. In this case, puntas refers to the upper portion of the hearts only. Which clocks in at 63% ABV. It is elegant and incredibly complex.
 
It is produced by Gerardo Pena with agave Meximiliana in limited batches.
 
What is Raicilla?
 
A regional mezcal of western Jalisco. Raicilla means ??Little Roots??. Centuries ago, locals named their mezcal raicilla to avoid tax.
