Wasabi root, grown locally in Golden Bay is the inspiration for how a navy strength gin (58% ABV) should taste. An initial wasabi kick greets you, but it is much more subtle than wasabi paste. The horopito creates a soft warming on the palate, smoothed out by the presence of orange and almonds. The beauty in this gin is the kelp which creates a long salty and savoury finish.
